Fall 2022 Meal Plans

Welcome to Cal Maritime Marketplace. Your dining experience is an important part of campus life even if you don't live on campus. We want you to make the most of your time here. Whether you are indulging before a big exam or grabbing a quick coffee on your way to class, we have what you need! Our meal plans offer any student living on campus the convenience and variety of food they need to enjoy their time at Cal Maritime in Vallejo, CA.

All resident cadet meal plan accounts will continue to be a “Declining Cash Balance (DCB)” account program. A DCB will function like a debit card and can be used to purchase individual food items sold in The Marketplace, and wherever food is sold on campus. Food items will be priced “per package” and the total price will be deducted from your card. All cash has a 1:1 ratio.

All resident cadet meal plan accounts will be loaded with $2,800 DCB for the Fall 2022 Semester. Any remaining Fall 2022 DCB monies will rollover to the Spring 2023 Semester. Unfortunately, no remaining DCB monies will rollover after the conclusion of the Spring 2023 semester.

Non-resident purchase options may be made throughout the semester at the Cashiers Office. Guests may also pay with credit or debit cards at The Marketplace.

How do I use my Meal Plan?

All meal plans are used at the Marketplace, which is a shopping/dining destination. The balance is reduced based on the amount spent in the Marketplace and other on-campus dining throughout the entire semester. Your Port Pass serves as your meal card and it will be swiped each time you make purchases in The Marketplace.

I don't have time to stay and eat the Dining Center. What do I do?

The Marketplace has your convenience and safety in mind. All food is packaged to-go, to accommodate your busy schedule. Enjoy your food outside on the new patio area or in your room

What if my declining balance is running low?

If your account drops below $500, you will be able to add money in $50 increments at the Marketplace registers. If you prefer to use cash or credit at the Marketplace, you’re no longer using a meal program, which means you will be taxed.

I need special dietary accommodations. What do I do?
